Ugly Christmas sweater cake
I saw this cake off of pinterest and printed out a picture of it. I gave the picture to my daughter and she gave it to her friend that decorates cakes. Not only did she pull it off the cake was absolutely delicious. I will have her friend make more speciality cakes in the future.
This is more of a close up of the cake.
We celebrated Christmas yesterday and it was a fun day and evening. I got up a little too early and faded early but it was joy for all the kids to be there and Zach was a sweet polite little boy who hugged everyone and thanked them for each gift he opened without prompting from Mom.

Zach's crafty gift to his Mommy
Yesterday I spent a few hours with my grandson making cookies and him making a craft for his Mommy for Christmas. Using jumbo jingle bells he was going to make a Christmas tree or a wreath or a present out of the bells and glue them to the inside of a frame. He chose musical note wrapping paper to cover the cardboard.
After fooling around with the bells for awhile he decided to take a break and think about it.
After I finished cleaning up the kitchen from making sugar cookies with him, he told me that he had decided what he wanted to do. He decided he wanted the first initial of him Mommy's name. K for Kristine. He told me that he didn't have enough bells for M for Mommy, but that was okay. He was the only one that called her that, and she does have a real name after all. He is 8 and I think he did a really good job.

Little bits of Christmas
Christmas chair hangers
I have to apologize for the quality of the pictures. I use my IPhone because it is easier. I am going to start using my camera and go the harder way to download, at least for me.
I bought these chair hangers from collectibles etc. Was very disappointed when I got them and they were so cheap I wasn't going to send them back. So I decided to embellish them.
Here is the before
Now this is the after, still a little bit cheezy, but I like the bright colors so will go with them this year.
